Wonder Park tells the story of an amusement park where the imagination of a wildly creative girl named June comes alive.*

Let's talk about the worst animated movie I have probably ever seen. I don't know what production house made this movie - but it was terrible. Don't waste your 85 minutes watching it or even listening while your kids are watching it. What makes this movie so terrible? Let's start at the beginning.

Have you ever played a puppet show with a sibling or kid? They give you a couple stuffed animals and expect you to make them talk to each other about something. That is what this movie is - animated stuffed animals that have no storyline or plot. The characters were very undeveloped which means you didn't build an emotional attachment to. Which ultimately means, you don't give a sh!$t what happens to them.

Now I went to this movie with a little person that is under ten years old. Not once during the movie did this little person laugh, smile or really even seem to enjoy themselves (besides the bag of candy and pop I bought them). When I asked this little person after the movie what they thought. They said the movie was fine. And when I asked what their favorite part of the movie was - they couldn't even think of one! For me, that is a major red flag.
  1. This is your target demographic and they can't remember a part that they liked in the movie just watched?!
  2. They couldn't even remember one of the character's name. They could name their favorite character based on the type of animal but not the animal's name.
  3. They looked at me and asked me to explain a part of the movie because they were confused (and let's be real - I couldn't explain it because I slept during most of the movie because it was boring as sh!$t).

What I hate about animated movies is that sometimes production houses will put together really sh?!ty movies really quickly that have no plot because they know nothing is going to be out and they need something for children to watch at a theater.

I have friends with kids. I will never suggest this movie to those kids because I know they aren't going to like it or understand it. There is a ton of violence in this movie (like Sid level from Toy Story) and there is nothing fun for kids or adults. I mean, Lego Movie 2 at least put in some humor for the adults that are trying to be good parents and taking their kids to see this movie.

Because of those reasons, I can't in my right mind recommend this movie to anyone. It really leaves me wondering how I can get back that 85 minutes of my life...
